Draft unknown cows – the easy way to find those cows with missing or defective ear tags
DTS Auto Drafter comes with a cellular modem so no internet connection to the shed is required.
Remembers previous drafts to easily identify cows for follow-up treatments.
Set drafts in the shed or out in the paddock by using the Herd-Man app.
Pending drafts are visible and editable.
Smartphone manual gate operation is possible via our nifty ‘virtual’ keypad.
Integration with your DTS Herd-Man online management website enables more complex drafts according to treatments or groups.
The wireless gate control remote enables manual operation of the gate from anywhere within the shed area.

Polycarbonate enclosures for control gear, with a life expectancy of more than 20 years, even with New Zealand’s harsh UV conditions.
Option available for reading of cows tagged in the left ear (mixed tagging). Simply add a second antenna and exclusion zone. No need for a second EID reader.
Modular design allows for additional automation features that can be added at any time.
REMOVE A LABOUR UNIT IN THE SHED DURING MATING
Ruurd Dijkstra has managed to remove a labour unit from the shed through mating with the seamless integration between DTS Auto Drafter and CowManager.
"Basically, CowManager finds a cow on heat and the DTS gate drafts them out after the morning milking. With the two systems we're saving a labour unit over mating, that's for sure. Nobody needs to think about anything, really."
