DTS Cheers on Young Athletes at 2023 North Island School Sport NZ Cross Country
We love helping out with rural events. We recently threw ourselves behind the 2023 North Island School Sport NZ Cross Country, hosted by the Bush Riders Motorcycle Club.
This action-packed event went down at Taikorea Motorcycle Park | Glen Oroua and had 152 youngsters (aged 12-16) revving their engines from about 35 schools. And when we say "schools," we mean places as far-flung as Reporoa, Tauranga, Te Awamutu, New Plymouth, Napier, and even all the way down to Wellington!
Our sponsorship went towards the medics and the MC (the guy who talks all the action), ensuring everyone was in tip-top shape and well-entertained.
But that's not all. Our local Area Manager, Aaron Evans rolled in with a chiller trailer packed with free drinks. And boy, did they keep the thirst at bay, handing out nearly 18 dozen beverages. Thanks to all the folks who came and had a chat with us.
One beef farmer even rode up to t say thanks for helping out the school event. It turns out some of these rural school events could use a hand when it comes to getting sponsorship.
So, there you have it—a day filled with action, fun, and community spirit. Thanks to Bush Riders for letting us be part of it.
